Michael Wontor

Michael’s passion for physiotherapy began as a child after experiencing an ankle sprain while playing soccer. His determination to get back on the field sparked a lifelong interest in helping others recover and return to the activities they love.

He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Sydney and an undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Michael takes a whole body approach to patient care, identifying the root cause of issues rather than just treating symptoms.

He specialises in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, as well as vestibular rehabilitation, helping patients recover from concussions, vertigo, and balance disorders through targeted techniques.

His treatments include manual therapy, vestibular exercises, and rehabilitation programs designed to restore strength, mobility, and function.

A passionate Chelsea FC and EPL fan, Michael enjoys playing soccer, hitting the gym, and spending time with friends and family. He plays for Cooks River and once had the opportunity to travel to Portugal to play soccer as a 10-year-old.

Michael is committed to helping his patients achieve their goals and stay active, whether that means returning to sports, improving balance, or recovering from an injury.
